HRH The Duchess of Gloucester comes to Launchpad!

 

A range of work created in workshops run by Launchpad was on display during the royal visit.
 

 

Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester visited Launchpad offices on to meet with the team and unveiled a commemorative plaque at the centre celebrating Launchpad's 35 anniversary. Her Royal Highness was given 3 framed photographs of the Kennet River taken by Launchpad clients.

Councillor Marian Livingstone, the Mayor of Reading is a strong supporter the work Launchpad does and has attended a number of Launchpad events. To the thank Launchpad Volunteering Team for all their support they have given Staff and Volunteers were invited to Afternoon Tea in the Mayor's Quarters.

 

Launchpad is Reading's homeless support charity. I have worked as an Art Tutor with Launchpad since February 2013.
